I met NP Amjadi when I hit rock bottom. I had seen a number of other therapist with minimal success. She came highly referred from a friend and although I was hesitant to meet “another” therapist her reputation alone convinced me to give her a try, and I am very glad I did. She is patient and kind and listens. She doesn’t judge you or tell you what to do like other therapists. She simply helps you process your feelings and ushers you to conclusions that you would otherwise not be able to reach. She never pushes you. She allows you to share and express and heal at the pace you are most comfortable with. Lastly, she tailors each session to your needs and uses non-traditional techniques that have definitely proven to be effective, especially on someone like myself who finds most therapists to be “textbook” and very impersonal. I have and will continue to highly recommend her.
